With 25 years of expertise in advanced manufacturing, Maggie pivoted to the new energy sector in 2011. Over a decade, she transformed a modest manual lithium battery workshop into China's top manufacturer of high-rate cylindrical batteries.

The realization of tabless mass production technology marks an unprecedented innovation and breakthrough in the lithium battery industry. It revitalizes the most mature battery category—cylindrical cells—with renewed vitality and opportunities, while enabling comprehensive performance breakthroughs across diverse application fields.

The tabless technology holds significant implications for the entire industry while posing substantial challenges to a team's comprehensive technical capabilities. This dual reality became a crucial impetus for Reliance Energy's establishment. Chen Xuan and two founding partners with backgrounds at Japanese battery companies recognized that their accumulated expertise in high-end cylindrical battery technology, cultivated over years, would form a formidable advantage under this new technological breakthrough.

Under Maggie's General Secretary of CPC Central Committee, Reliance Energy swiftly assembled an elite team of top-tier PhD researchers and seasoned Japanese-system engineers. Core members possess complete know-how and extensive manufacturing experience in designing high-rate, high-energy-density lithium-ion batteries, driving high-performance and premium-quality mass production of tabless cylindrical cells.
